happy sunday
today waz a really fullfilling day and i lurved every minute of it! so heres the event that happend..
met hy at marina square just for window shopping. in the end i bought a shirt and hy didnt buy anything.. hy i cut my shirt already..haha..it looks okey looking lah. then we saw ppl picking tulips and we also wanted them cause they look oh so tempting bcause of the colours. How to pick the tulips? well we have to pay like 2 bucks for 5 tulips. cheap eh, thats what we thought too..
we were like 'what the heck, lets do it for a good cause and its cheap too!'..and so both of us picked the same tulips.( the lovely tulips are on my table now..i think its gonna die in a couple days time)..
there was nothing to do at marina square so we decided to go to esplanade. i had to go there to pay for my radio dj course. met anna belle francis there and she told us that there is a band that is performing and they are really good and all,the musics great too. so i asked hy whether she dont mind watching the performance and she said yes! thank you hy! see you enjoyed it too right...if there ever is a next time, shake ur bon bon alright..hehe
anyway, this band is called 'The Cat Empire'. They are from down under, australia. they are quite famous in UK, europe, australia and usa? cant remember clearly.
time was not wasted at all.. when the band started, man oh man, i loved the music! its a mix of reggae, jazz, hip-hop and sth sth.. loved it loved it loved it! we were standing at the side and it seems that I, moi, was the only one moving ma head, neck, and body..haha.. the caucasians were doing it too. what a sport.. sporeans were like just rotting there, standing like those policemen..tsk tsk..
the first half was over and we waited for the 2nd half. this time we were standing at the other side but beside the happening crowds.. might as well enjoy it there than at the far side where ppl were just looking and rotting... these peeps cant feel music man. 'music is the soul..lalala..'
anyway when the 2nd half started, gosh it was really like a concert, the happening crowds straight away stand up and dance. that goes to show that these peeps enjoy music..hehe it was like in a sold out concert. people were dancing happily. i too was dancing happily. i was clapping unitl it was numb.haha..and hy? she just claped and bounced...haha she cant dance and shake her bon bon..hahaha..no pun intended hor hy.. anyway the crowds were soo happening that there were securities and policemen standing beside the big speakers. i think for safety reasons?
oh and at the last song, not the encore, there was this gay guy who ran on stage and took a pic with the singer! arrgh im so freakin jealous! y? cause the singer is kiiiuteeee!! and he can dance too..oooo drooling...slurp slurp.. hehe.. it was a good thing i video taped their performance.. i will watch it over and over again..even though its short, i dont care!
i want their cd! i lurve them already!
