went out with my family for dinner. my mom and i were debating on me dating a caucasion guy. or just debating on me dating. period. i told my mom that i MIGHT ( its might not will) date a caucasion guy and upon hearing it she freaked out.

she was like 'Don't even think abt dating. once you date and sth happen i'll chase you out of the house!' and she was saying it when we were at Isetan lah, my gawd. i too dont give a shit i just said i might not right now and what is wrong dating a caucasion guy?

i didnt want to argue just then. just let all her traditional thinking come on all out. i told myself later, i'll say my piece later in the car. when we were in the car she said again dont think of dating right now. dating is only when u are ready to get married. straight away i asked my dad 'dee, what is wrong in dating a caucasion guy?' he said nothing. my mom just kept on talking. she was nagging abt its not right to date now cause im studying and again she said dating is only when u are ready to get married.

then she started talking abt how my dad courted her and i said what yr is this now? 2006. your yr was during 1980s . dont compare! my dad was laughing. sheesh.. and she said im not matured to experience dating. not like them during their dating days. i was like come on lah how am i to become matured if i dont experience it?! duh...my dad and sis was laughing again. and then she started to quote the bible saying marry those in the lord. so she say i have to marry someone from her religion. which im not ever going to. there were soo many things that we debated over but i just couldnt fit the pieces together. oh yah she said ' u mix with these kinds of friends thats why you want to follow them.' i told her 'its not my friends okey. i had this thinking when i was in secondary sch already.' so she have no right to blame my friends.

okey i think i had enough of telling. im sooo gonna go against her man!
