Manila manila
Hello babes and fellow readers! just came back from manila and only a day later that I decided to blog. heehee.. anway my holiday wasn't fantastic at all. Let me give ya'll a brief summary of my one week holiday.
Day 1 (thurs):
Arrived at 11 am in the morning and the journey from clark's airport to where we are staying took a total of 2 hrs. 2 hrs!! anyway poor drive had to go back to fetch my relatives. another 2 hrs. Went to the shopping mall for lunch and the food there is nice. They serve rice mixed with fried garlic. yum yum..
Day 2 (fri):
The whole family decided to go to 'Enchanted Kingdom'. Its a theme park which is so much nicer than escape theme park. Why? cause they have a mini roller coster and a medium roller coster! My brother and I sat on the medium roller coster 4 times! the first time was a no no. after the ride, my legs were wobbly and my head was spinning. I had to sit down and bend forward to rest. The 2nd time wasn't that bad. Then the 3rd and 4th was fun cause I took a video while ridding! haha.. gonna upload it next time. My brother told me he's scared of heights and he's scared when riding the viking, roller coaster and log jam. ( where at a certain height, you get rolled down and get splashed with water).
Day 3 (sat):
Shopping. Went to this shopping mall called 'mall of asia'. Four malls join together as one. bigger than vivo. Things here are not that cheap. Its almost the same price in spore. And theres topshop and guess and DP. So I didn't do much shopping. Oh before that we went to chinatown. It was super crowed. Lots of chaos. Lots of ppl. And I saw a couple of ppl selling chicks. The unique thing abt these chicks is that they are coloured! their feathers are all coloured. There are pink, blue, yellow and green! How cruel.
Day 4 (sun):
Went to a shoe expo. There were rows of shops that sells shoes at a reasonable price. While my family bought shoes, I didn't buy a single pair of shoes. I ended up buying old romance books at S$0.50 each and bought a audrey hepburn bag. Pathetic I tell you. Shopping there is PATHETIC.
Day 5 (mon):
went to visit a place of worship. Later went back to the apartment to rest as my 'best friend' came. After dinner, went to watch movie with my brother. watched 'music and lyrics'. ticket cost was only S$5. two bucks cheaper than here.
Day 6 (tue):
went shopping for last min stuff. My uncle bought like two boxes of pop corns. Its delicious! and my family bought like 6 buckets of them. hehe.. not gonna share to ya'll.
Day 7 (wed):
Home sweet home. Thank goodness for that.
What I think of manila: Chaotic, never follow the traffic lights. Not much traffic lights. The traffic police is sort of useless. Food is nice, shopping is too expensive. could take at least an hour to get to one destination. Having a driver who knows the roads well is a must.
