Kimchi Day!
Omg! never will I ever do such things again! It was sooo embarrasing can! My family and I send my dad off at the airport at around 10ish pm. Just dropped him off actually. Reached home at 11, my mom applied olive oil to my hair as it was really dry and damaged. So she decided to revive my dead hair! haha funny, dead hair.. anyway as I was hanging the clothes from the machine, my dad called my mom. Next thing I know, she became very anxious and her tone was a note higher. The reason why my dad callled was that he left his stack of currency notes at home! Absent-minded daddy of mine...sigh... my mom kept on asking him which black bag, where, what kind, blah blah blah... then both my bro and me stopped what we were doing and started ransacking his table. haha.. nelson checked my dad's black bag and he asked us whether its the correct one, opened it and there the precious moolah! at first my mom wanted nelson to go but he protested saying he's wearing boxes n house shirt and asked me to go instead. I was like no way! I'm also wearing an over size shirt and a gym pants PLUS my hair has olive oil btw. Expect me to go into the airport and pass my dad his moolah? no way! But I did. I had no choice. And so we ran from the block to the carpark then my mom speed all the way!! woo wee and I ran to the departure hall. Shit can, the security guards in there were looking at me lah. sigh..
Any who, enough abt the drama. Went with my parents n sis to chinatown. My dad wanted to buy stuff from there. Then my mom suggested that we eat dinner at the korean restaurant. She wanna try the bibimbap. The restaurant opens at 6pm so we walked aimlessly, waiting for the time to pass. Went there and there were korean waiters! not waitresses. haha not good looking though... and so we ordered 3 bibimbap meal, one korean ginseng chix and one saba fish. my dad wanted to try the korean ginseng chix and when it came, we tried the soup..OMG.. it is good! you can taste the herbs and ginseng? hahaha but its good lah. compated to the one that I ater at PW. the restaurant's better.
A Funny thing happened, my tea ran out so I wanted to ask for a refill, I saw this waiter walking up n down so I said 'excuse me'. He didn't turn around but he was standing beside my table. So I said 'chau-gi-yaw' He suddenly turned and had this startled expression on his face with his right hand to his heart. In my mind I was thinking what did i do to scare him? any who, he murmured sth under his breath but I couldn't care what he said, I told him to refill my tea. He came back and refilled mine only. Bloody hell lah, he didnt care to check my sis's cup n my dad's. My dad called him back loh.. the wiater say oooh sry...tsk tsk... then! the restaurant was playing bogoshipda ( the song from stairways to heaven) I was singing to it and that waiter was singing too! I saw what, singing loudly somemore, from the cashier carrying food all the way to the table beside mine. Singing 'bogoshipda, bogoshipda, la la la la...' the sound system was playing the song softly btw, so obviously the customer around him can hear. He does have a good voice though but sadly his face CMI.
My family liked the food there! yeshah! Next time can eat there already. hahaha... happy happy... my dad liked the korean ginseng chix, saying the chix is from the kampong. He tried my sis bibimbap (without chili) n mine with chili. He perfered mine. Taste better with chili. Total bill came to about 70 dollars. But no one's complaining. :)
Super duper nice!!! the chix is huge too!

Our worth of wonderfull food!
